Hi I've just had my first chemo Ec for Breast cancer with metastases of the 8th rib feeling better this morning shaky but I suffer from chronic migraine and low and behold by the time I got home I had all the symptoms. I haven't slept much my brain couldn't shut off it was like a really bad night out but without the fun! I will speak to oncology about it I know they can alter the dose etc I've drank so much fluid to flush me out! Anyone else like me
Thanks Julie
Hi Julie
I had my first of 6 TCHP chemos yesterday. Like yourself I suffer from migraine so was unable to use the cold cap, the pain on my forehead was horrible and was going into my eyes and knew a mega migraine would be imminent. I have drunk loads of lemon and ginger tea and that has really helped me, feeling shaky, my eyes are still puffy but head isn’t too bad ( despite being awake since 2.30!!)
Hope you feel better soon
Jo x
Hi Jo
Yes I think it's one of the biggest worries I think I was so worked up as well which didn't help! Wasn't going to take alot to set one off I'd already managed to stop two over the last week mines coming from the back of my head and neck throbbing but I've got disc problems as well so it always makes it worse I'm sure we will be OK they can tweak it! Il catch up with you later compare notes! All the best x
Julie
