Hi so I'm new to all this I just wanted to pop.on and get started really so 1st August I was diagnosed with high grade 2 breast cancer then after having an mri scan last week they have found something in my other breast I have had a biopsy done and waiting results I'm absolutely terriefed and can't help but over think things.
Hi, I am a newbie as well and still finding my way. I hope you hear something soon. My nurse said that the waiting around feels like forever and she is right. I am like you scared and over thinking things especially at night but I have read some of the other threads and this has helped me a lot.
Take Care xx
Hi Podge75
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer and that they found something in your other breast. Hopefully that isn't serious. It's perfectly understandable that you are terrified and are overthinking things, it happens to us all. Try to take your mind off it by doing things that you enjoy.
Wishing you the best of luck with the biopsy and with whatever treatment you will be having.
Best wishes

Hi Newbie, sorry to hear this - I had a similar situation where the MRI showed something in my (healthy) boob - fortunately it was nothing serious but I stage 2 in my right side :( I've had 2 surgery (Lumpectomy and lymph node biopsy then re-exsise of the interior margins and level 1 lymph node clearance) and been told I have to have a mastectomy now as there are still cells present in the tissue... whatever the diagnosis there will be a treatment and it can be removed - please keep positive and be gentle with yourself
Hi Podge 75,
My story is very similar to yours, I was diagnosed on 1st August grade 2 invasive breast cancer. Was absolutely terrified and after last appointment post mri, I'm now booked for surgery on 14th September. I'm trying to be positive and reading through the many threads on here makes me feel less alone.
Sending warmest wishes to you x
