Hi all,
.I have been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma and I'm having a mastectomy on early September.
I have to decide on type of reconstruction surgery between an implant or tissue replacement.
I'm 44 years old and struggling with deciding which one is best .
Anyone on the same situation?
Hi Lili27
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. While I didn’t have a mastectomy I thought I’d reply to you anyway and welcome you th the community. No doubt someone will be along soon with the experience you are looking for.
Best of luck with your surgery and whatever further treatment you receive.
Best wishes
