Painful Magseed insertion anyone?

Hi there, I had a magseed inserted this morning and it was PAINFUL! I have a high pain threshold and was quite frankly shocked and unprepared for how much it hurt. It’s still causing me a lot of discomfort now. I was meant to go to work afterwards but there's no way I could do and give my usual 100%

has anyone else experienced this? I’m now concerned there’s something amiss with my tumour and getting a bit doom and gloom about it all. I just finished a 16 week course of chemo 10 of which was weekly and was wondering if got anything to do with it.

Yes mine was very painful too and 8 was shocked as I didn't feel the biopsy

Hope it settles down soon x

Just had mine done this afternoon but yes I felt it!!!! but didn’t feel the biopsies. Purely reaction, I nearly hit the nurse my arm spazammed!

Hi! I nearly fell off the damn bed I was not ready for that at all!!!! I let out a huge ow! Hope yr not feeling too sore now x

Still a little sore but I had 6 core biopsies done today whilst being squeezed into a mammogram clasp, so was to be expected. Can’t wait to see the bruises! I kept saying to the nurses "you horrible lot, why would you choose to do this job!” All taken in jest, I know the nurses are great! Humour is my coping mechanism when it’s been a ‘good’ day! Lol
