Hi I’ve just joined tonight and wondered if anyone had any experience of having spread to their scalp connected to breast cancer? I was diagnosed with grade 2 cancer in 2013. I had a lumpectomy and radiotherapy. No spread to lymph nodes. I was fine after this and got the all clear 2018. Unfortunately I was unwell with breathing difficulties in 2019 which was diagnosed at the end of February 2020 as grade 4 breast cancer with spread to my lungs and bones. This has since spread to my scalp. I don’t know anyone else that has spread to their scalp, it seems it quite rare. Is this the case? Thank you.
Hi Susan
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been breast cancer twice. While I haven't had any experience of cancer spreading to my scalp I noticed that you haven't had any replies yet so I thought I'd check in with you. If you aren't already a member of the Secondary Breast Cancer group maybe you would like to join that group and put your questions on there. The following is the link: Secondary breast cancer forum. Hopefully some will be along soon to give you an answer.
Wishing you the best of luck.
Best wishes
