Hi there I was wondering if anyone could help I have had 6 weeks of radiotherapy on my head finished 3 weeks ago but my hair all over not just on treatment site Is still coming coming with now a bald patch on the opposite side to where my treatment was I was wondering if anyone else had this and how long before it should stop falling out
I have already little stubbles coming in where the treatment was it just to see how long before it stops falling out would be helpful
tbak you in advance
Hi Stanley
I don’t what treatment you have had but the bald patch on the opposite side of your head is probably caused by the radiation beam exiting your head.
At three weeks post treatment you should be past the worst of the side effects so hopefully the hair will stop falling out soon as the exit dose will be lower than the entry dose.
it’s nice to hear your hair is starting to grow back.
Take care
