Morning , received a phone call this morning from consultant she has a space available for my op on Thursday this week instead of the 30th .Happy but very anxious .
Hi Jue22,
Really pleased for you that your op is being brought forward, I know that I felt much better once I knew that treatment was starting. Wishing you all the best for your surgery, the start of your journey of recovery from breast cancer. Xx
Hi,
Its normal to be anxious at the same time. I was happy to be having my operation, couldn't wait to get this cancer out of my boob. I had chemo first then operation. I'm just over 2 weeks post op, had mastectomy with immediate reconstruction and healing nicely. Bit of pain now and again but manageable with painkillers. And exercise affected arm regularly. You'll be fine, hope all goes well xx
Hi Jue22
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Are you having a lumpectomy or a mastectomy? It’s perfectly understandable that you are feeling anxious about your operation even through you are happy that you are having it earlier than expected.
Wishing you the best of luck with your operation on Thursday.
Best wishes
