I had zero side effects after my first one. I had a low mood for about a week after my 2nd one but no aches or pains. I have my 3rd next month so will be interesting to see how I react!.
My oncologist said you tend to get more bone pain if it is fixing something in your bones but I've no idea whether that's true.
I'm on it as a preventative against bone issues and cancer coming back in bones - think it is fairly standard now if you are put into an early menopause like me.
My first and second were flu like, after my 3rd about 3wks in I had real bad hip pain that lasted for about 6 wks and today after my fourth I’m exhausted. I’m also on it for preventative reasons.
Hi Kimbo56 I am due my sixth and final infusion in June . No major side effects ..a bit achy and fluey for a few days and tired . I do get more bone pain in legs on and off and have a tender area of bone near ankle.
one thing I have had but no way of knowing if connected is a recurring UTI. Around the time of infusion never had one before this .
I am post Menopausal and Her positive so on this as preventative
