I had the nab abraxane after an allergy to paclitaxel and found it painful on the joints , to the extent I was considering buying a heat mat to alleviate the pain after surviving on paracetomal and ibuprofen throughout the treatment .
There was no nausea or vomiting just the extensive joint pain mainly in knees and fingers . I had 4 rounds of it every 3 weeks then moved onto EC .
Thank you.. I had an allergic reaction to paclitaxel too that’s why they put me on Abraxane I am experiencing terrible joint and abdominal pain too. Did the pain stop once you completed the cycles of abraxane?
