Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and while confident in beating it I don’t want to burden my family with cancer chat too much. As they still processing the info and need time to digest what’s happening. I thought perhaps others who are in similar position could help?

  • Hi Tallulah

sorry to hear you also find yourself here.
it may be an idea if you know what type you gave as this may help others in this site to give you some of their advice. Although everyone is different there will be some similarities. If you click on your name you can add some information if you like.im sure there will be plenty on here to help or listen. I’ve found it very comforting coming in here

  • Hi Tallulah,

Sorry you've found yourself diagnosed with cancer but welcome to the group.

I have found this group really useful for connecting with people who understand and for information. I have also used the phone line when I have needed immediate emotional support. The woman's there was wonderful.

Do you have a date for your op yet? Lots of people find the waiting the hardest part, I hope you don't have to wait long.
