Hi,

Just joined today but after reading some of the blogs and messages on here I’m sort of feeling a bit of a fraud!
Found out last Tuesday that I have cancer in my left breast but it’s been caught early and they think things will be ok once it’s out with a little radiation.
I feel very numb about it all, but after reading some things on here I know I have been very lucky! xxx Louisa xxx

Please don’t feel like a fraud, this diagnosis is scary at any stage, well done for getting checked and catching it this early is amazing news for you but still a shock. Spread the word amongst friends an family of the importance of awareness with this. Since joining this forum it really hits home how many of us are diagnosed everyday, I feel so thankful for the treatment available and for the ongoing research going on.

Hi Louisa all stages are sad. But glad you caught yours early. This forum is really great for building you up when you feel down. I also caught mine early but it was two areas. and had my lumpectomy on Tuesday. Waiting for results now from pathology.
