Hi There, Although I'm new for now I first joined in 2016 when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and also BRCA 2 positive. I had the usual grueling time, 8 rounds of FEC-T for 6 months then my Operation a Bilateral Mastectomy and Diep Flap. So just 2 months before my 5 year all clear and here I am again. Lump in the same breast and exactly same place where my first diagnosis was. Shocked to say the very least. Op planned for 13th May and just waiting to find out the biology of the cancer cells to see what treatment I need. I'm hoping it's the same and then I only need the Op and Radiation. If it's a new cancer then Chemo will be needed. Just reaching out to say Hello and see if anyone has a similar story to me.
Xx
Hi, really sorry to hear your news and fingers crossed for your results. Remember, you got through this last time and can do it again.
Yes feel quite confident I can smash it again, just so hoping I don't have to have chemo again. Especially that you can't take no one with you. Xx
