Hi ya I’ve just undergone 4 rounds of A/C Chemo and I’m just about to start the next 4 sessions which are to include Trastuzumab has anybody taken this as part of their treatment? If so did you get any side effects? Thanks
Hi, Cockerpoomummy, I have just finished 4 rounds of EC chemo and starting 12 weeks of paclitaxel along with trastuzamab and pertuzamab injections 3 weekly on Friday so I am not able to tell you at the moment but I do hope we both get through this with little side effects. Jxxx
Hi Janicol thank you for your reply good luck on Friday and if you feel well enough let me know how your feeling, fingers crossed we get through this like you say with no side effects xxx
Good morning cockerpoomummy
I didn’t have the A/C.But I am now on my third Trastuzumab another 9 to go along side 12 months of Herceptin 3 weekly injections.
I have found the Trastuzumab manageable i Have two days normally on a Thursday and Friday (I have my treatment on a Tuesday) I feel weary and aches but it is ok, no sickness
up to now I have had no hair loss without cold cap, if any ladies who have had the same treatment as me managed to keep there hair I would love to hear from you or when did it start to go ??
Jude
Kazash56 thanks for your reply yes just had a heart scan myself it was all ok thank goodness
