Hi all are there others on here with Triple negative breast cancer.
Mine was oestrogen positive 20 years ago but has switched now its come back.
I was started on 10 tablets a day of cabeticine but within a week have developed horrible blisters on my feet. They advised to stop immediately.... The blisters are still there making walking painful.of course it all happened over the Easter weekend.
Has anyone else had such a reaction
Thanks
Margot
Hi, sorry to hear of this side effect. I noticed this post a few days ago, it might help you. Best wihses
Hi Margot, triple negative here too. I have some questions, ignore anything you don't want to talk about:
How did they determine this was a recurrence and not a completely new breast cancer?
What treatment is the oncologist suggesting to replace the one your had a reaction to?
Have they given you any advice on what to do about the blisters?
When I had skin issues due to treatment, I was referred to a dermatologist. She was able to solve everything, and left me with a "tool box" of stuff to use in case anything simiar happens again, with instructions on what to use for any of these possible situations. Can they refer you too to a specialist?
Normally for skin issues I use, and recommend, vitamin E oil, but when we are in treatment I think we should check any such idea with the oncologist first, to make sure nothing we think of applying or taking would interfere with treatment.
