  • Hi and welcome

If you want to tell us anything about yourself or your story then we are all here when you’re ready

It’s an overwhelming time isn’t it

    love L xx

  • Thankyou. I was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer last week after a week of waiting but knowing, and at the same time hoping, that it would not be the news I dreaded. And now I have to get on with the treatment plan but even waiting for that is interminable and all the time I am terrified that this is spreading as I wait. But the treatment effects also frighten me. There seems to be nothing to take any consolation from at the moment.

  • Hi and Welcome  I was told Grade 3, then following lumpectomy and sentinel lymph nodes removal, was downgraded to Grade 2. We're all here to help each other through this. Do you have any further info yet? X

  • The waiting is really hard , you want to have a plan but at the same time you’re hoping to wake up and this all have been a bad dream

Do you know the type of cancer and roughly what your plan may be ?

  • Hello Mary Anne, I was diagnosed with grade 3 Oestrogen+ Her2 neg, I've had my lumpectomy in October and started chemo on the 23rd of December,  had my last one last Thursday . Waiting now for Radiotherapy,  seeing oncologist next Monday.  It is a roller coaster, waiting on results and appointments is horrible. Not all grade 3 end up with chemo,  you might get away with just surgery and radiotherapy. Just take one appointment at a time,  I found diagnosis changed a bit along the way. You'll be ok, with good support around you..xx

  • Not yet. I am due to start chemo first but just awaiting my oncology appointment. Thankyou for your encouraging words.

  • I have been told the plan following the mdt but need to wait for the oncology appointment.
you are quite right - I do keep hoping I will

wake up to find it’s all been a nightmare!

  • Thankyou . Your support is really appreciated.
