Hello. For me I was fine while having the treatment then 10 days later got itchy, a few pains in the area treated and extremely tired. I definitely underestimated how tired it would make me. The itching was easily treated using hydrocortisone cream and lots of moisturising. Hope that helps x

I started my radiotherapy 10 weeks after my op but had already started tamoxifen. I think you'll need to judge how you feel. My advice would be if you need rest then rest and don't push yourself too much. I found that the tiredness in particular was the one thing that i wasn't expecting even though the breast care nurse had warned me. Good luck x
I had my radiotherapy 6 weeks after my surgery. I had an itchy rash and mild pain sometimes, the fatigue was the thing that wiped me out, more so than I thought it would. Meant I had to take naps, no choice. You just have to go with it
