Hi, had my results from WLE and all good no cancer in lymph node or surrounding tissue.
I have an insurance policy which i can claim on so i got a copy of the letter from the doctor for results. I was told it was ER positive but on the letter it reads
9mm grade 2 invasive ductal ca4cinoma NST
No vascular invasion
0/1 LN
Prev core high ER (quick score 7) HER -2 positive (3+)
NPI = 3.18
pT1b pNO (SN)
Do you think this means i have got some HER in there as well? Thos has not been discussed with me?
Thanks in advance
I am not sure what you mean by, "I have got some HER in there as well." However, according to what you quote here, pathology states the tumour is HER2 positive.
You can ask your nurse why the HER2 status was never mentioned or explained, but the important thing is to verify that your treatment takes this information into account.
