I am new to this group and finished my chemo 2 months ago. My mastectomy was 3 weeks ago. I have started on Letrozole this week. Can anyone tell me how quickly the side effects will start to take effect. Thanks
You must be very lucky. I have seen so many messages from ladies who suffer from awful side effects. My nails are bad too both feet and fingers together with neuropathy. Cancer carries a heavy burden.
Hi, I've been on Letrozole since September and so far luckily have had no side effects other than being a bit stiff now and again.
Hi, I started Letorozole in Nov and also Leprorelin injections. Only things I have noticed is an increase in body stiffness and sleep issues - but that is maybe the induced menopause!
Apologies, pushed the wrong button. i was debating whether to take or not as i was really concerned over the possible side effects. But, after speaking with the experts, i did start yesterday. Still nervous about any possible side effects, but i may be one of the lucky ones.
Oh your so lucky not to have side effects that are difficult! My side effects started about 3 weeks or so after starting. I’m now on a new ish anti inflammatory tablet that actually is fab
