Letrozole and zometa infusions

Hello, i was diagnosed December 2017 invasive ductal carcinoma grade 2, had opp and radiotherapy and put on anastrozole for 5-10 years, i started zometer, i had trigger thumbs to start with but eased off, after about 2 years, i have constipation some days and then diarrhea the next no matter what i eat, its the meds we have to take unfortunately, yes lot of bone & muscle aches especially my legs eeek, that still effects me now and i`m 5 years on now, i used to walk 2 miles every day but now i do what my body allows me to do, but moving makes it better, feel very tired most of time but battle through it, you will get through it to, just do what your body can do, hope this has helped, it does get easier.

Thank you so much for you kind reply ,it’s made me realise that I’m not alone with how the medication works /side effects etc ,I have a day where I feel good and the next isn’t so great ,I’m seeing oncologist this month so hopefully he’ll help as I’m not keen on swapping medication really as they all seen to have side effects of some description .thanks again x

Hope all goes well for you when you see oncologist, i don`t like swapping either so i stuck to the one i was given and battled on, i find a banana helps me with muscle aches when walking and good for us to, feeling tired is worst for me as i like to keep busy all day then insomnia at night eek but we will get through it, on these meds, please let me know how you get on, best wishes.
