Recent surgery - not sure how to feel‍♀️

Hi, sorry to hear you’ve not heard from your team, but good that you feel your recovery is going well.  I don't recall hearing much after surgery either to be honest.   As to how you should be feeling, well I guess we're all different. I have been very pragmatic and “get on with it” but I know of others who have struggled more to come to terms with the diagnosis or surgery.  There's no right or wrong way here I think, but don't forget Macmillan has some e great resources if you need to chat.  Good luck

Glad to hear you are recovering well. I had one call from my BC nurse to see how I was doing about 5 days after but that was it. Do you have an appointment booked for results? I had one two and a bit weeks after where the surgeon checked everything was healing. Since then I've heard nothing, got a 4 week wait for first oncology meeting.

Not heard anything from anyone, not even BC nurse and surgery was 10 days ago. I appreciate they must be very busy and I’m doing okay so I’ll just wait to hear something.

Hi there,  the waiting is not easy and I know they are busy but I would call the office.  Sometimes things get lost in the shuffle.  Anything to ease your mind.  You are important and we are all rooting for you.  Love the Bill Withers song Lean on Me and also Elton Johns I’m still standing yeah yeah yeah.  Can relate to both of the lyrics.  Hope you get answers from office today.
