Hi everyone.
It's taken me too long to join this forum. I think I buried my head in the sand, maybe if I didn't speak about it, it would just go away. I know that sounds stupid.
So I've started yaaay
Well done you. Welcome, I've found this site invaluable for support, advice from people who truly understand. Where are you in your journey/treatment? I've had 2nd chemo cycle this morning. Having FECT x 6 cycles, plus Herceptin injections, plus radiotherapy later on. Had lumpectomy, plus sentinel node removal. Jo x
Pretty well. Had 2nd cycle yesterday. Side effects not too bad tbh. Headaches, achy legs, bit of indigestion; sorted by Gaviscon and tablets they gave me yesterday. Injections for 7 days after each session really not too bad at all, bit of backache. Take everything they give you, anti sickness etc. Not had any nausea either. Very surreal sitting there for approx 2 hours. Having 3 x FEC, 3 x T plus Herceptin injections, then RT afterwards, plus Anastrazole tablets. Hope this helps. My hair loss started about 2 weeks ago, got my wig ready for after my shave on Friday. Jo x WE CAN DO THIS! X
