I'm 69 years old and have been diagnosed with HER2 - Positive breast cancer. I had surgery this week to remove the lump, also some calcification spots, and a lymph node biopsy.
It feels weird, because I feel quite healthy, but I have to admit I am feeling nervous about the next step - chemo - in a few weeks I am guessing...
So far I have avoided reading too much, been making sure everyone else is ok, but realise this may not be possible going forward. Hopefully I can use this forum to chat to people going through the same.

Hi, sorry to meet you here but I hope you find lots of support and advice as you need it. I'm a year in from diagnosis now and coming to the end of most of my treatment. I hope chemo is kind too you, it can be different for different people but there's ,it’s if coping techniques and ways of managing side effects. Good luck
