I turned 50 on Wednesday, my Mum has breast cancer which after a mastectomy on 19th Jan has spread and is not curable, I have an appt on 10th march as I have at least 5 indicators of BC, and I'm scared
Hi Fig1972 so sorry to hear about your Mum and I can understand how scared you are, the waiting is the hardest, only 4 days to go, try to keep yourself busy and hope for the best, if it is BC start coping when you have to, fingers crossed, please let us know. Love from Ann
Hi Ann,
Thank you for replying, most of the time I'm OK but yesterday I was entirely out of sorts and very tearful, I'm lucky as I have a wonderful support system in my family, it's just hard to know that my treatment might stop me from seeing Mum xx
Hi Fig1972
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear about your Mum and that you yourself are facing a diagnosis of breast cancer yourself.
Hopefully it won’t turn out to be breast cancer but if it does your medical team will do everything in their power to get you well again.
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you and your Mum.
Best wished
