I had a lumpectomey and lymph glands taken 2 weeks ago.I have noticed that the area around the nipple has lost its colour. Is this normal please.
Would depend where they have taken the lump. If its closer to the nipple.. Better contact your breast care nurse.
Hi Twiggy, my boob is still not the same colour since my lumpectomy 18 months ago and my areola is still very pale and the skin is very dry so i suspect what you have is normal but as always, if in doubt ask a MC nurse just to be sure. Love from Ann
