Letrozole

Here's a link to the drugs that Macmillan suggest affect diabetes, it doesn't mention Letrozole.  However, if Letrozole is having an impact, then it would be worthwhile following their advice and speak to Diabetes UK/your doctor/your oncologist.

Maybe someone else has experienced this and can pop onto help you.

Hello Deni. Letrozole contains sucrose so it sends the BG level up.  I also had a problem with the steroids as they sent my BG up too.  When I asked about this the hospital nurse said "Pick your battles.  Controlling your oestogen is currently more important than your BG level unless it goes into the teens."  I would certainly ask at your surgery if you are concerned.  All the best and take care
