Hi,
I have had my biopsies, CT scan and bone scan and should find my out on Thursday if the cancer has spread. I have my appointment with my oncologist next Monday to find out what drugs I am a going to have.
My question is, how long after having the dose of Chemotherapy are you sick, and how long are you sick for. x
Hi Cindy, I agree with what Winnie has said.
Do you know what kind of chemotherapy drug you´ll be having? Some have more of a reputation for causing nausea than others but of course it depends on each person how they respond and as Winnie says, we´re given anti nausea drugs to help.
For me, I suffer the first few days afterwards with constipation so I try to drink lots of water and eat fruit each day. That doesn´t happen to everyone though but if you experience that, try not to worry as it is a typical symptom.
I hope the feedback you get on Thursday is good news xx
Thank you that is really reassuring. I must admit I feel I can cope with most of it, it's just the thought of sickness all the time is really daunting. x
Thank you Doris, I don't know what drugs I will be having yet as waiting to see if the cancer has spread, i should get the answer this Thursday, and on next Monday the Oncologist will let me know about the drugs x
