I felt a small lump two weeks ago and my doctor sent me to the breast clinic Monday just gone,
Was a scary experience had a ultrasound then a biopsty, going for a mammgram this Monday, hoping for some results by then,x
Glad you have been seen ,
It is scary, I can remember my first time.
Waited for a month to be seen, they did a biopsy straight away which totally traumatized my eyes.Altho the procedure went well , it was for me my first ever surgery in the dark/ low light, I never held my arm so still in my life.
I really hope you are doing well, and that you have support.
Wish you all the best for this Monday x
Thank you so much for replying.i don't have my results yet but after my biopsty he kept saying its small and things have come a long way.i have a 16yr old and 19 Yr old.im so worried about possibly having to tell them.it was just the way the doctor looked at me and the nurse.is it normal to be called for a mammgram after a biopsty I have no idea x
Aww, I'm only 36 so I didn't have a mamagram at first but after my first results they needed to do a mammogram before my second biopsy, it's totally normal.
I don't yet have children and I cant honestly fully know how much pain you are in but I know it is painful,.
I remember I told my mum whilst she was on holiday which was difficult.
Tho I had to wait to tell my dad as he suffers mental health problems.
I think just be honest in a way they will understand.
Things have come along way there is so much out their available.
Xx
I'm also 36,I went round to tell my mum a few days ago to tell her what was going on but I just couldn't find the words, she had breast cancer at 50 thankfully she has been clear for 16 yrs now.how are you doing?
My husband has been so supportive,I'm really hoping for answers Monday.i should of asked more questions before at my appointment,
Hope your well and thank you again for replying x
Aww, I think I babbled for a while then Said, I hope you can at some point.
Don't be shocked if they send you for a MRI Breast scan, it's as we are under 40 our boobs are dense so mamagram don't always find much, mine didn't.
it's a hard time processing everything , if you think of anything just write them down and take them with you on Monday.
just trying to go with it and dealing with the emotions as they come.
A good TV show and hot chocolate works wonders.
Glad you have support.
X
