Hi everyone ... I just joined this group this evening. I had a lumpectomy on 1st Feb, together with Intra-Operation-Radiation-Treatment (I think that's what it stood for). Also a quick look at some of the lymph nodes nearest operation site. I have an appointment (video call) tomorrow morning to see what the results of the full biopsy are and the way forward now ... maybe more radiation, depending on findings, and the proposed hormone therapy. A little apprehensive about the results, but got my questions organised more or less.
Thank you HockeyNut - also coping with a new computer that wants to lose my messages before I hit the right button! Has anyone else had follow up with a video call ... not sure if they will want to see wound site so not sure how to dress. Will feel very odd to be sitting there with top off in front of computer!!!!
