sorry to here of your diagnosis. As it’s early have you DCIS ? I had this and had surgery in January just waiting for radiotherapy. I too have a history of this cancer in the family. Of course you are not being silly everyone has doubts and wonders if they are making the right decisions, especially when we already have it/have had it in the family. We are all in the hands of the professionals but they usually know their stuff and have a vast amount of experience to help us.  
I hope you get your plan soon as it will then be easier for you to get your head round- and of course we are all here for you on here
