Hi River100
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you are facing a diagnosis of breast cancer. I found doing the things I love to do like walking with my dog helped me while waiting for results. You could also try using a meditation app like Headspace, Breathe or Calm radio to help calm your nerves while you wait for results. You could also contact Macmillan on 0808 808 00 00 to talk to one of their volunteers about how you are feeling. We've all been there so what you are feeling is not unusual.
The lump may turn out to be benign, most lumps do, but if it is cancer know that it's very treatable nowadays and your medical team will do everything in their power to make sure you get better
Wishing you the best of luck with your results when you get them.
Best wishes

We all understand, somehow, the waiting is the worst. Focus on the fact it may be benign. If not, they do amazing work and will help you through whatever is to come. I am so grateful to NHS for finding my tumour and removing it all. Still waiting to see Oncologist to discuss treatment plan. we CAN do this, whatever this happens to be. Stay strong
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
