New to group

Hi, congratulations on coming this far. I had lumpectomy December 2021 and due radiation therapy with five fractions  before end of this month. Feeling optimistic. Take care.

1. Hi Hellsbells! We sound as if we've joined this rollercoaster ride at a similar time. I've got my appointment on 1st March for results following lumpectomy and sentinel node removal on 27 January. Good luck with your journey, I hope everything goes well for you.

good that you have got your treatment started. I had my lumpectomy on 17th Jan and have my results appointment on Monday. Hoping for the best

Hi all.  Had my lumpectomy and sentinel node removal on 20th Jan. Had results last Thursday. Great news, clear margins and nodes are all clear too. Fly in ointment is I am Grade 2, HER2+ so awaiting oncologist appointment as need chemo, Radiotherapy, Herceptin injections for a yr plus have to go back onto Anastrazole for a few years. Could be worse! We CAN do this. Got a wig fitting today as been told by BCN I will lose my hair.   Good luck all with results
