We all went blank, it's a shock to be told you have cancer.  The waiting is the hardest, once you know your cancer type and treatment plan post it here and some amazing women will share their experiences and support you through treatment.  We can all remember how you are feeling now, you are not alone, one day at a time.  Love from Ann

Well I was not told but received a letter from hospital that is sent to my doctors It said  invasive ductal carcinoma stage 2-3 grade lll Have 2 lumps 3cm and 2cm just don’t know what will happen next x

Hi, it's quite shocking to begin with, your reaction is just the same as most people. It's probably worth thinking about a list of questions to ask, and then taking a notebook with you for your next appointment. Are you able to have someone go with you?

I'd be asking about treatment options and timelines for this. Once you know about treatment then it gets a little easier, well at least that's how I found it.

Don't be afraid to come on here and ask any questions, oh yes, and my last piece of advice, avoid Dr Google.  Stick with reputable websites like Macmillan.  Good luck, sending positive thoughts
