I’m seeing the oncologist in a couple of days and have been told that chemo is the standard treatment, but I’m eligible for the optima trial. Any advice on which route I should take?
Hi Psalm103
I personally can't answer your thoughts about Optima Trial as it wasn't something suitable for me as I didn't need chemo - but I have seen it discussed before on here.
Here's a link to one such discussion which you may find useful in the meantime.
There may be ladies around now, who can also pop onto your post who have experience as your post had dropped off the first page - such a busy group!! and by replying, I've 'bumped' it back to the first page.
Best wishes, Lesley
