Hi
I was diagnosed with DCIS in November and operated on at the beginning of December. Yesterday I have underwent a sentinel lymph node biopsy. My reshaped breast has a hard lump on the side all the original biopsies were done. Anyone else experienced this and does it settle down with time?
Hi Gotme
I am 4.5 years down the line and my breast wasn't re-shaped. I ended up with a dent (due to 80mm being removed). I do have lumps just above my 3 inch scar, which is actually painful to touch if I press hard, or lie face down. I think this is scar tissue. But the shape/lumps haven't changed in all the years since.
Possible other people's do, but mine hasn't.
Best Wishes, Lesley
