  • I understand your concerns,  I was the same. Only thing that made me realise that I'm going to have to give them a go was, my 2 cousins and my husbands grandmother,  they were all on tamoxifen for 5 to 10 years, no complaints.  Do you know anyone that has been on them xx

Hi Vonnie, I’ve been on Tamoxifen for 3 and a half years now. I was really reluctant to take it. I even said to my oncologist I would prefer more chemo rather than take it. It’s absolutely fine, I’ve had hot flushes but that’s it. Good luck x

Thsnkyou for replying aplreciated Slight smile

  • That pretty much sums up my experience with it too...increase in hot flushes, but none of the other side effects.  I changed to Letrozole a week ago because it works better with my Palbociclib apparently, which I've just started taking from my first dose yesterday.

When you're going through hell, don't stop!

Hi Vonnie I have been on Tamoxifen now for 4 years. I had crazy hot flushes for the first year but that was it. I have absolutely no problems since. I wish you all the best.

Hi has anyone  had any bad side effects  with anastrozole. I've had mine for 6 weeks  now but cant pluck up the courage to take them .I have other problems  with knee and hip and thinking these will make my problems worse,I know we are all different how we get side effects but I do need some encouragement thankyou.
