Hi everyone
I see lots you are worried about your operations n treatments, you are in the best hands , we are so lucky in this country. Both my mother, sister n I had gone through different breast cancer operations n treatments n we’re all still here. Life maybe a bit different for us, but with good family n friends we’re still living life. Eat well, drink plenty of water, look after your mental health and go outside for a short walk if you can.
I was just wondering if anyone had any advice for me as in December I had a double mastectomy and reconstruction, all went well, just waiting for radiotherapy appointment. but I’m finding one of my new boobs is still hard at the bottom and very uncomfortable especially when in bed. Should I be worried or will it soften in time? Only been five weeks since my operation,
I can't help you with your 2nd paragraph but I want to thank you for the reassurances you've given in your first para. You're right, we are very fortunate for the care we receive, and grateful for it. Thank God for our NHS.
