Just wondering has anyone else here had to decide whether they take chemo? Having had 3rd recurrence in a year and last one on my mastectomy scar just 4 weeks ago, 4 months after mastectomy, Apparantly I am borderline as to them officially saying I need chemo. I had lump removed and confirmed grade 3 breast cancer triple neg. it was 4mm which I know is small. I’m so scared of this coming back if I do nothing although I know chemo doesn’t give me any guarantees. My Mri scan and ct scans clear. I kind of am swaying toward chemo simply because I will feel mentally it will help me to feel I have done everything to stop another recurrence. Has anyone experienced this? Thankyou in advance x

That’s honestly what I am thinking but I’m scared too of having chemo! I just wish they had taken it out of my hands to make the decision. Thankyou for replying xx

Hi Jane, I think if it was me and I have had it twice in one year I would want chemo . If it's preventive I had adjuvant chemotherapy 4 sessions of EC just moping up they told me . Just in case , I don't know about you but I don't want to go through all this again I'm exhausted! I want my normal life back again X Take care

I know! Three times in a year! They themselves are shocked I have it for 3rd time and on my mastectomy scar! And it has gone from dcis to grade3 triple neg. I honestly don’t think i could live my normal life if I do nothing! I believe if I have chemo it will make me mentally more secure this may not come back although there are no guarantees! Thankyou for replying I really appreciate it x
