Diagnosed in December 2021

left breast two tumours biopsied. Awaiting plans for surgery. Mastectomy with reconstruction using own tissue! Have private health care. Met plastic surgeon who had zero bed side manner. Having been positive and upbeat he left me terrified! Looked under a review of him and was scared and shaken. My lovely breast cancer nurse had day off.
1) time of essence but what if I change breast surgeon and hospital will they send all my scans and notes so i don’t have to start over??

Im a private patient to , live in London and with HCA .

My surgeon is Mr Desai . I am happy with him . Very quiet man but that doesn’t bother me . He had to remove cancer tumours from both breasts and lymph nodes from both .

On one side my breast looks as near to dam it , perfect . The left side was more tricky but under the circumstances I think it’s a good job .

He also takes appearance of breasts seriously which I found interesting . Some surgeons have zero interest in what we are going to look like afterwards .
