I had surgery on 3 December and have my follow up appointment on 6 January. From speaking to a breast care nurse on the phone, it seems likely that the next stage of treatment is most likely to be radiotherapy and hormone treatment. Post-surgery, I felt pretty good (which I assume is, at least in part, because I was fit and healthy with a good diet prior to diagnosis). I'm trying not to drive myself insane by endlessly Googling the potential side effects of various treatments - although that's not going so well today!
