That's understandable. Did they say what else could be causing the swelling? I hope the referral results in you being told that the reason lies completely elsewhere and has to do with the lack of lymph nodes, but I know all too well what waiting to hear is like. 

No they just said that bit is me and it should go down. I'm still stiff and sore under my arm from having lymph nodes removed.  Xx

The woman at the lymphoedema clinic didn't say I went straight down to breast care to see them they told me to wait and they would be InTouch my ap is on the 5th of jan

It's just horrible when they keep you in the dark with no explanation and send you on your way. As we all here know the waiting time is agonising. Try if you can to not overthink it, whatever the situation is, by worrying isn't going to change anything. So until you get the facts think positively foe a good outcome. I am keeping everything crossed for u till your appointment on 5th.

Our mind is so powerful, I get it with on your own coz I am a single mum too. When it's quiet in the night u just get most frightened. Know that you aren't alone. Many women and men around the world, are going through similar too with the waiting and what ifs.
