I have just joined this forum and was diagnosed with breast cancer on Monday 13th December. My surgery is 13th January with an MRI on 29th December. Feeling anxious, scared and peed off that I am seemingly ruining Christmas! I have been told to isolate until my surgery date, so have cancelled all gatherings I will have some distanced, alfresco meet ups though or I'll go stir crazy.
Hi, so sorry to hear of your diagnosis, and yes, also the worst time of year to have this uncertainty and changing plans. Being anxious and scared is pretty normal, but I am sure you'll find a lot of support from the lovely ladies in the group. Wishing you luck for the coming weeks
Hi Curlykelly
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast, not the news you want to hear coming up to Christmas. While breast cancer can be scary it is treatable.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and after having chemo, surgery and radiotherapy I am now cancer free.
Wishing you the best of luck with your surgery in January.
Best wishes
