Hello all I’m new here, I had a breast cancer diagnosis on Monday of this week, my head is in a spin I have to go back on 23/12 , I had no idea I had the illness as I didn’t have any of the symptoms, it was only picked up by me having a mammogram, I don’t know how I’m supposed to feel or what to think! I don’t know about anyone else but I find the waiting for the results just as distressing as having the diagnosis.
Hi Emerald lady
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. It perfectly understandable that you don’t know what to think and feel about your diagnosis. The wait for results is the worst part of a cancer diagnosis but once you have a treatment plan things you should start to feel better about it as you will be starting the fight back against this disease.
Sishing you beast of luck with your treatment when you start it.
Best wishes

Sorry to hear of your diagnosis it is such a hard thing to hear. We have all been where you are now and the waiting for results is the worst thing ever. Anything you need to ask, just post here as you will get sound advice and everyone is so nice. I wouldn't have coped without this group.
Take care xx
Yes exactly, people mean well but they will never understand unless they been through it themselves. On this forum we have been or still going through breast cancer treatment Honestly the support here is amazing and when I was feeling down at the beginning of my diagnosis they would pick me up with positive stories x
Hi
Sorry to hear of your diagnosis.
It's awful and you will feel so confused and emotional trying to digest it all. Some days are grim but that is all normal. We have all been in the state of disbelief like you are right now. Once you get going with a plan it does get better, even though each scan or appointments create anxiety, it is what it is and you are in a good place for support. Waiting is rubbish!
Take a day at a time. Don't let your head go to dark places if possible and it's OK to not feel OK. Be gentle with yourself and rely on your medical team and also us here for support.
Keep talking and take care....
