Hello Super Amazing Crazy. You'll find a lot of friendly support here. I had the same surgery as you in May and was told afterwards that cancer had been found in one lymph node, plus the lump was bigger than they thought so not all of the margins were clear. Waiting for test results is hard but despite my worries the CT and bone scans were both clear although every little ache/pain does make you worry that it might have spread. In terms of advice I'd recommend just taking one day at a time, and try not to think ahead too much although easier said than done sometimes. Avoid looking at Google as a lot of the information there is out of date or 'worse case scenario'. I'd just add that it sounds like your team is being thorough - they're trying to find out everything they can about your cancer and with that knowledge you'll be armed to deal with it.

Post surgery and waiting for scan results is a very difficult time so do give yourself a breather whenever you can. Once you have more information you can get advice from your doctors, and that often feels more manageable.

Your lump being larger than expected is not uncommon, as far as I understand. Many of us in this forum have lymph node involvement and are successfully treated for it.
