Hello All….love to you beautiful people sailing in a boat similar to mine. Little did I know what future would look like about 6-7 weeks ago when I discovered a lump in my breast. And here I am preparing myself for chemo.
Unsure how it all will be but to start with I have cut my hair short (same as I had as a toddler).
It’s definitely something that is going to be difficult for me and my family so I am hoping this platform may be my saviour to seek strength when I am struggling and also at the same time my journey may give stength to someone in a similar position.
I honestly haven’t scrolled on to any page yet and I am sure you are holding in there strong .
We will get through ️
️.
Sending Positive Vibes….x
Cherrypicked
Hello Cherrypicked, sorry you find yourself here. I’m triple negative too (grade 3) and at the moment at hospital having just had my pre chemo chat etc, should start on Monday. These are very strange times for us, this didn’t feature in my plans at all!! Hey ho just want to get on with it now and finish asap. If I’m a bit further down the line than you don’t hesitate to ask for info on what is in store (for me anyway). The nurses were very kind and helpful and I’m sure you’ll find the same. I’m going to try the cold cap to see if I can save my hair, sod’s law it’s my best feature! I’ve had lumpectomy and node biopsy already. There is also a triple negative forum on this site which you can also join.
Wishing you all the best xx
Hi Wobbly1,
I can relate with you and going to see the nurses on Monday for a chat…glad that you have had your lumpectomy and on the mend. Mine was scheduled provisionally for 30th Nov. But then plan changed to start Chemo and later have the op. Want to get on with it as you said and want to be on the other side
I am new here so will find my way to the other thread…thanks.
All the best for your journey ahead…hugs and love to you and your family who are with you at all times…x
