Hi. I was first diagnosed at the age of 37, then again at age 59. The first time I had a lumpectomy and 25 days of radiation. The 2nd, in the same breast, I had another lumpectomy but this time I had Brachy therapy..mammocite so I had therapy twice a day for 5 days and took Letrozole for 5 years. I was diagnosed the third time August of this year. This time it went to the other breast. I was lucky because it was Stage 0 but high grade so I had a lumpectomy and about 17 days ago started on the Letrozole again. Last time I had no side affects but now I have all sorts of craziness going on. All at one time I have a headache, nausea, chills, severe stomach cramps. This has happened on 3 days. Now I am so itchy I can't stand it. I keep putting body lotion on but that hasn't helped. There are a few other things but overall it hasn't been fun so far. How are you handling all of this.
Hi, I have heard people say that different brands of Letrozole seems to have different side effects. I wonder if you recall the brand you had before and if this has changed.
