Hello I have just been diagnosed with breast cancer and would like to chat to people who understand what I am just about to go through. I am new to the site obviously so not sure how to use it properly
Hi Skips. Sorry to hear your news. This group is fab for asking questions etc. I’m out the other side now as treatment finished September and remember to take in all the positives they give u as I dwelled on the negatives. The waiting for results is the worst but when I get a treatment plan mentally it gets better. Don’t hesitate to ask people any questions.
best wishes.
Hi, sorry about your diagnosis. So, you can ask any question on the site just by posting, and don't worry, nothing is too trivial. There is also a blog page, lots of people write about the cancer experience so that could be interesting for you to read. People also write a little about their cancer in their personal profile, so you can see what other's are going through more specifically. Hope this helps.
Hi Skips I was diagnosed last Thursday so I'm a newbie too x all I know is a lumpectomy and full node removal needed on my upcoming surgery...no date yet ...I had an appt with nurse today just to go over stuff and what to expect re surgery and aftercare. try to freak, cry if you need to, tell the people you will need for support and do read some blogs they are so useful x
