I was diagnosed on October 13th and had my operation on November 11th. Still wrapping my head around everything. Hoping to find answers as I go along and maybe give answers to people too.
Hi Kayton.
welcome. I’m two and a half weeks post mastectomy. Waiting for next wed with baited breath to hear what they found. Feeling sore and sleeping a lot. Drain coming out tomorrow though so I’m super excited about ditching the compression socks and having proper showers.
I know what you mean about getting your head around it - it takes a while to sink in

Hi k
Sorry to be meeting you this way. Your op was really quick at least no hanging about for you. How are you feeling post op?
I.had mastectomy and 2 sentinel nodes removed on the right two days before you The post op appointment we are still waiting to see whether one of the nodes impacted but was told its no different diagnosis than the original biopsy. Wishful thinking got me disappointed thinking maybe they will have got it wrong with the biopsy, big sigh!! It is what it is.
Also trying to prepare myself for chemo, radiotherapy and hormone suppressant treatments. Still not got full movement just yet but can put a t-shirt on!
What is your next appointment? Let us know here so we can support you through this process. You're not alone..many of the ladies are so lovely and kind here.
