Ive had my lumpectomy and sentinel node removed mid October then on 1st Novemberi had a second surgery to clear margins. Was told initially after 1st surgery that nodes were clear. Now after 2nd surgery BCN mentioned on a call that I have partial node involvement, has anyone else heard of this. I will query it on Monday as i go for the results of oncotype DX results..xx

I would ask for a copy of the pathology report so I could see for myself what was found (or not found.) Then demand an explanation regarding the incorrect information that was given.

In the past I have had contradicting results given and I raised hell. Unfortunately such things happen and they need to be highlighted to the team.

Thankyo Greycats, that's what I'll do. It is confusing and left me wondering did they remove another node second time around. Anyways I'll find out, would they give me a copy of the report..x

They are obliged to. If they refuse, insist. If there is more than one pathology report, get both or all, so you have a complete picture of everything.
