Sorry to hear your bad news but oestrogen positive is good news - it means hormone blocker drugs can stop it growing or coming back. The cod  liver oil capsules are a bit of a laugh - nothing but the highest tech for us BC patients! Did they have any idea about the size/grade of the lesion yet? It’s horrible having to wait 2 weeks or more to find out the next step. Keep us posted!

Thanks for your reply Anabrok.Its provisionally grade 2  and about 17 x15 mm but this could change with mri results.Im told lobular doesn't show up as well.

I have lobular in both breasts  - the left is sorted but the right needed a mastectomy after a failed lumpectomy. So yes it doesn’t always show up well, but when it does show on the MRI that’s a good sign. I had a wide local incision lumpectomy and breast reduction on my left, which has worked out pretty well. Still healing as it’s recent but pretty impressive. I need some radiotherapy to catch any strays the surgery missed and then a tamoxifen like drug for a few years to stop it coming back. The other breast has to go because it’s got bits all over including the nipple, so the safest thing was a mastectomy. If it wasn’t for the awkward right breast trying to be different I’d be practically cured by now
