I’m suffering with burns and blistering under the breast can anyone advise what I can do. Thank you.

Hi Shirley75 welcome to the forum and glad that at least most of the treatment has past for you but not so good being left with burns.

You need to see if you can see the practice nurse at your  GP surgery sooner rather than later as this will be painful for you and they will be able to give you some cream to cool and heal the wounds and dressings to keep the two layers of you breast from rubbing together.

Dont be tempted to try and treat with  any creams just now as you can end up doing more harm than good, so please think about making that appointment on Monday.

It will heal up but does need medical input to make that happen.

  • Hi Granny59 I’ll do that I’m really suffering. Thank you for answering

Hi Shirley75 I should also have said be very careful when drying yourself after a bath/shower and pat the skin under the breast to dry rather than rub if that makes sense.  Don't wear the underwire in a bra either as that will rub the area.

  • Hi

i too had a lumpectomy, and then the 5 day condensed high dose radiotherapy. I’m there weeks on now had a bit of sunburn and a bad irritating rash between my breasts which now thankfully has gone. Also under my breast as I am large 38F. Three weeks later I surprisingly got blisters !  I have been using Aloe Vera Natural Gel and Aveeno Skin Relief Cream, both of these have really helped. Hope they help you too

    Best wishes
